Pediatric Pulmonology is a growing field of physicians dedicated to treating diseases of the lungs and airways. Our state-of-the-art facility is led by 2 board-certified physicians and is staffed by 2 nurses, 3 respiratory therapists, a dietician and a social worker. We see children with problems that include asthma, allergies, cystic fibrosis, severe pneumonia, bronchiolitis, neuromuscular disorders, and other rare diseases of the lung. We are especially equipped and trained in caring for children with special needs, such as tracheotomy tubes and home ventilators. Special tests and procedures performed by our office include pulmonary function tests, pulmonary exercise testing, and bronchoscopy. Our pleasant staff and inviting facility keep our patients happy and breathing easy. And when a child becomes so ill that they need attention in the hospital, Driscoll Children’s Hospital provides excellent in-patient care for our patients, allowing for our physicians to continue the more intense care on the hospital side.
